Braking Bad

Overview

The one-way Braking Bad is accessed from a triangular intersection with Hustle & Flow. This is a tightly twisting cross country trail that will be a challenge for new riders and require good turning technique from experienced riders looking to keep their momentum rolling through the turns.

The trail begins with a number of easy turns through a mossy tunnel of low trees. Soon, things start to get a harder as you reach a section of climbing switchbacks followed by a tricky tree-pinch. As the trail continues, it adds several mandatory log-lunges and an optional log-ride to the constant turns.

A series of bermed turns leads across a service road into a section of close trees that's a little bit of a squeeze in places. After this, you're on the return leg and the trail will keep alternating between smooth and rooty sections. The end of the trail comes back out on Hustle & Flow about 40-feet down trail from where you started.
