China Creek begins with a climb from the intersection with Taylor Creek Trail. The grade is moderate at first up the creek drainage, eventually becoming steep as it gains the ridge.<br><br>The descent into Galice Creek has steeper grades and a series of switchbacks. The final part of the route is another climb to Forest Road 2402/S Fork Galice Creek Road.<br><br>Throughout the route, riders will encounter a number of mining operations, both past and present.
