Nottingham Campground Bridge Site

Overview

The remains of the footbridge that once connected the East Fork Trail #650 with the seasonal Nottingham Campground lie broken in the East Fork River. From here the East Fork Trail has been abandoned, washed out by November 2006 storms that also destroyed the Robinhood Campground, formerly the trail's southern terminus. Even the short stretch of the East Fork Trail down to the river is no longer maintained, but mountain bikers have kept the trail open up on the bluffs and have fashioned a short connector to a nearby forest road.
