Olallie Butte

Overview

Olallie Butte is the highest point in the Cascades between Mount Hood and Mount Jefferson . The summit of Olallie Butte lies wholly within the Warm Springs Reservation, but it can be reached by a former National Forest trail that is no longer officially maintained. The butte dominates the Olallie Lake Scenic Area, a plateau of shallow water-filled depressions left after the disappearance of an ice sheet.
