Overview
A short spur off the Bottle Prairie Trail #455 takes you to this rocky promontory that blooms with balsam root in the early summer. Views from here are restricted, but Flag Point , Tygh Ridge, and the rolling countryside of the Columbia Plateau are visible. The crow's nest lookout platform here has decayed away, but look for the remains of a ladder leading up a gnarly Douglas-fir with a sawed-off top.
