Overview
Broken Top is an extinct stratovolcano in the Three Sisters Wilderness. The volcano last saw activity about 100,000 years ago, and since then glaciers, including the current Crook and Bend Glaciers, have whittled down the peak to a rugged encircling rim of rock, with the large south cirque (it's not a crater) carved into the heart of the mountain.
