Overview
This is the upper of two grassy benches that can be accessed from the Cherry Orchard Trail. This is a grassy expanse of about 30-40 acres on the side of the steep climb that makes up the wall of the Columbia River Gorge just east of Lyle. A side trail runs through the middle of the area to a nice view of the town of Lyle. This is a nice detour from the main trails of the Cherry Orchard, especially on a sunny day.
