Overview
You can usually cross Catherine Creek here with dry feet, even in the spring, at a alder that is bent over the stream. There are mossy boulders to step on. Old Stove Road leads directly to this spot on the east bank of the creek. Descending to here from the west side involves finding the trajectory of Old Stove Road across the way and making a bushwhack/scramble to where it meets the creek.
