Foggy Flat Hike

Overview

Foggy Flat is an alpine area on the north side of Mount Adams . This is further from the trailheads and therefore less popular than some other areas. The route via the Killen Creek Trail is an excellent scenic backpack, with some great dayhikes above Foggy Flat and farther along the High Line Trail. Mosquito activity quietens down on the northeast side of Mount Adams at the end of August although the nights do begin to get colder.
