Boccard Point via the PCT Hike

Overview

This hike, entirely within the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument, will take you into the Soda Mountain Wilderness along the Pacific Crest Trail, where you’ll experience dense fir forests, lush meadows, and dry sagebrush balds. From the PCT, you can visit the first viewpoint on this hike at Little Pilot Peak . After this, you'll leave the PCT to hike the two miles along an old road to visit Boccard Point . Views extend south to Mount Shasta and Mount Eddy. There is also an option for a loop with a cross-country section up to Soda Mountain described below.
