Blanton Ridge Hike

Overview

The Ridgeline Trail system in south Eugene comprises a network of trails branching from a through path that is about 6 ½ miles long. The westernmost section of that trail runs between Blanton Road and Willamette Street following a forested ridge between newly developed neighborhoods. The woods here shelter deer and form the mixed forest typical of the area, albeit with a liberal infusion of invasive species, such as Armenian blackberry and ivy.
