Benson Lake Hike

Overview

Twenty-four acre Benson Lake is a popular short hike destination in the Mount Washington Wilderness, ideal for small kids as a day hike or backpack. The lake has a steep shoreline and is surrounded by montane forest. It is stocked with trout every year, but note that mosquitoes are a force in the area into August.
