Hoquarton Slough Hike

Overview

The City of Tillamook has made use of an old railroad spur to create a small park and interpretive trail at the junction of Highway 101 and Highway 6. You can follow the spur route west over Highway 6 (1st Street) to reach Goodspeed Park on the south side of the highway. Hoquarton Park abuts Hoquarton Slough, the site of the Smith-Baxter Mill, which was constructed here in 1885.
