Gee Creek Loop Hike

Overview

This neighborhood loop in the fast-growing Clark County city of Ridgefield allows you explore both a bottomland along Gee Creek and a wooded ridge east of the town center. The route follows Gee Creek, which has seen a restoration that brought back a more natural ecosystem. On the return, you can join paved trails on the ridge above the creek. Note that some maps show the Gee Creek Trail continuing farther south than 19th Place . Suffice to say that this section is planned but is nowhere near completion. There are also plans to extend the trail north from Heron Drive to the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge.
