Water Board Park to Singer Creek Hike

Overview

A closed city road, carved out of the basalt bluff but slumped and washed out beyond repair, now serves as an Oregon City park. You can follow this rough but paved route around a horseshoe bend up to Hidden Viewpoint , from which views open up to the Portland area’s Boring volcano landscape and Mount Saint Helens . From here, the (almost) secret Bluff Trail takes you to neighborhood streets, which you can follow to Singer Creek Park. You’ll loop back through the bluff neighborhoods to Hidden Viewpoint and descend from there to your vehicle.
