Overview
In June 2023, a new trail and large trailhead were inaugurated at Silver Falls State Park. The North Rim Trail runs for 0.6 miles between the North Canyon Trailhead and the North Falls Trailhead . The first part of the trail is a wide, gravel, accessible path which ends at a high, fenced viewing area toward North Falls . Visitors can make a loop from the new parking area by descending into North Fork Silver Creek’s canyon to Twin Falls and then walk up to North Falls , which you can pass behind. Before returning to the parking area, you can follow the 0.3 mile spur to pretty Upper North Falls .
