Limpy Creek Loop Hike

Overview

The Limpy Creek Botanical Area includes a short interpretive trail which explains the botany of the Siskiyous in a nutshell and especially the biome of serpentine soils. Various Siskiyou endemic plants live here, and there is both Jeffrey pine/manzanita parkland as well as a canopy woodland dominated by Douglas-fir. A highlight of this loop is a small waterfall tumbling in a cool, mossy defile.
