Overview
There is a Forest Service Campground below Rainy Lake (see directions to the Rainy Lake Trailhead ). A short trail leads from the campground to the lake. Trails from Rainy Lake connect to the Gorton Creek and Wyeth Trails. You can hike to Wahtum Lake along the old Wahtum Lake Road, which has been converted to a trail.
