Anderson Hill Loop Hike

Overview

A secondary coastal woodland of cedar, hemlock, and Sitka spruce cloaks this slope near the Tillamook Airport. Except for a brief visit to a powerline corridor, you will get no views but instead find yourself immersed in a mossy sword fern woodland. The trail tread is boggy in places, and in winter, you can expect debris and perhaps some blowdown from storms. A short loop with a spur up to the powerlines takes you around this county property.
