Burn Victim Trail

Overview

From the intersection of Tapia Canyon Rd. and San Francisquito Mtwy., head south on San Francisquito Mtwy.. You'll crest a small rise and off to the right you'll see a lone singletrack headed off into the distance. This is Burn Victim.

Head out on the trail and you'll climb slightly before diving down two steep, sometimes loose and rocky, downhills. Once you've made it to the bottom of these descents, the trail pretty much flattens out as it winds its way through the valley. There's some good turns and even a couple of jumps. Nothing overly technical but when the downhills get loose they can be a little tricky.

The trail ends just after the berms before the creek trail. You can jump onto this trail and head through the creek down to Karl's Trail or turn left and climb back up to the towers on San Francisquito Mtwy..

Overall it's a good way to throw a little variety into your Tapia Canyon tour.
