Hamilton Creek Crossing

Overview

The crossing of Hamilton Creek should be dry from mid-July to mid-October. There’s about a one-month window on either side of these dates where it should be a shallow ford. Be careful descending the bank of loose cobbles and gravel and then crossing the creek, which braids here, on the jumble of cobbles. You will need to head left up the creek bed about 80 feet to reach a good place to ascend the east bank under the powerlines.
