Munra Point

Overview

Munra Point is an exposed basalt knob at the junction of three spiny ridges just west of Tanner Creek. Visible from I-84 as a green shark's fin of ridge sticking up out of the trees, the summit offers a spectactular and exposed 360-degree view up and down the Columbia River Gorge and is reached via a steep and scrambly non-maintained route that has become a very challenging bushwhack since the 2017 Eagle Creek Fire.
