Overview
This is a small four-acre lake with a couple of campsites below the Zigzag Mountain ridge. Fishing is allowed. Compared to Burnt Lake , Cast Lake is smaller and less crowded because it's farther away from any trailhead and there's no view of Mount Hood . There are great huckleberry patches here at the end of summer.
