Overview
This is part of the historic San Juan Bautista Trail. Look for the start of this dirt road on the left after turning north on Skyline, the only traffic light along Hacienda at the crown of the hill. A 20 foot-wide dirt road, there is nothing technical along its length, but will have a few slopes that are 10-15%.<br><br>Eventually, the road stops at a water tower with a TV transmitter antennae next to it (KOCE). You shouldn't have any problem seeing the doubletrack that splits left at that point, a short 50-yard connector to another dirt road. Stay straight along this new road, which is the start of Schabarum Trail, or turn uphill to the right on Purple Sage Trail.
