From the bottom of the hill take this wide, twisting, dirt fire road uphill. After 1.5 miles, stay right at the first split for a sharp, uphill switchback, and keep climbing. In less than a mile, look for a split to the left for Miller Lateral. If you go right, it will take you back to the low-swinging gate and Cobal Canyon - La Verne.
