Easy parking at the trailhead by the forestry station. This is a short trail that is mostly all at a less than 10% grade. A few rock features, no roots. VERY well maintained, with trees cut back and removed. BEAUTIFUL views north to Mt. Whitney from the summit of the trail. This isn't a destination trail in itself, but if you are hiking other trails in the area, a fun diversion.
